_Sips chamomile tea_ Ladies (and gents), let’s talk about those midnight cravings that hit when we’re binge-watching our favorite shows or burning the midnight oil! I’ve got the perfect guilt-free treat that’ll satisfy your sweet tooth without wreaking havoc on your waistline – my famous Banana-Oat Energy Bites!
Trust me, as someone who’s notorious for late-night snacking, this recipe has saved me from countless regrettable pizza deliveries! 😉
What You’ll Need:
• 2 ripe bananas (the spottier, the better!)
• 1 cup old-fashioned oats
• 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
• A pinch of cinnamon
• A dash of sea salt
Let’s Get Cooking, Besties!
1. Mash those bananas like they ghosted you on a first date! Get them nice and smooth.
1. Mix in your oats, peanut butter, and honey. The mixture should be slightly sticky but workable – kind of like that face mask you forgot to wash off (we’ve all been there!).
1. Fold in those chocolate chips – and no, eating half the bag while cooking doesn’t count as “measuring” 😏
1. Sprinkle in cinnamon and salt, giving everything a good mix.
1. Roll into bite-sized balls (about 1-inch diameter) and place them on a parchment-lined plate.
1. Pop these babies in the fridge for 30 minutes, or if you’re impatient like me, 15 minutes in the freezer works too!

These energy bites will stay fresh in your fridge for up to a week, but let’s be real – they never last that long in my house! They’re perfect for those late-night study sessions, Netflix marathons, or when you just need a little something sweet.
Pro tip: Make a double batch and keep them in the freezer. Future you will thank present you, I promise!
