_Sips coffee and gets cozy in my favorite kitchen chair_
Oh. My. Goodness. Ladies (and gents), let me tell you about this absolutely divine snack that has been my guilty pleasure lately. I’ve been making these Crispy Honey-Sriracha Chickpeas, and I literally can’t stop munching on them. They’re that perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and crunchy that’ll have you reaching for “just one more” about a hundred times!
Listen, we’ve all been there – it’s 3 PM, and you’re craving something that’s not another boring handful of almonds. This is where these bad boys come in to save your afternoon slump!
What you’ll need (trust me, it’s super simple):
• 2 cans of chickpeas (or garbanzo beans if you’re fancy like that)
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 1-2 tablespoons Sriracha (depending on how spicy you like it, honey!)
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• Salt to taste
Now, let me walk you through this life-changing snack (not being dramatic at all 💁♀️):
1. Drain and rinse those chickpeas like they owe you money
2. Here’s the secret step that NOBODY talks about – dry them REALLY well with paper towels. Like, super well. Your crispy dreams depend on this!
3. Toss them with olive oil and spread them on a baking sheet
4. Pop them in a preheated 400°F oven for about 30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through

Now, while those chickpeas are getting all crispy and gorgeous:
1. Mix honey and Sriracha in a small bowl
2. Once the chickpeas are crispy (they should sound like little marbles when you shake the pan), take them out
3. Drizzle with your honey-Sriracha mixture
4. Sprinkle with garlic powder and salt
5. Put them back in the oven for 5 more minutes
And voilà! You’ve got yourself a protein-packed snack that’s way better than those boring chips you’ve been munching on. Fair warning: these are seriously addictive. I may or may not have eaten an entire batch while binge-watching my favorite show (no judgment, please! 😅).
Store them in an airtight container… if they last that long! Mine usually disappear within hours because, well, self-control who?

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have another batch calling my name… 😘✨
