Indulgent breakfast boat: Golden croissant cradles runny egg, crispy bacon & melted cheddar, garnished with fresh chives. Air fryer perfection.

OMG, girls (and guys), let me tell you about this absolutely life-changing breakfast recipe that has become my morning obsession! Ever since I got my air fryer, I’ve been experimenting like crazy, and this recipe right here? It’s a total game-changer that’ll make you want to jump out of bed in the morning!

Let’s make the most incredible Air Fryer Breakfast Boats that’ll have your family thinking you’ve secretly become a professional chef overnight! 😉

What you’ll need:
– 4 croissants (slightly stale ones work even better, trust me!)
– 4 large eggs
– 4 strips of bacon, chopped
– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Optional: cherry tomatoes and avocado for garnish

Okay, here’s where the magic happens, bestie:

1. First, cut a little pocket into each croissant (don’t cut all the way through – we’re making boats, not rafts! 🚣‍♀️)

1. Cook your chopped bacon in the air fryer at 370°F for about 4 minutes until it’s almost crispy. Set aside and try not to snack on it (I know it’s hard, I’m guilty of this too!)

1. Gently press down in the center of each croissant to create a nice little nest for our eggs.

1. Carefully crack an egg into each croissant boat. Season with salt and pepper (be generous, honey!)

1. Place the boats in your air fryer basket (you might need to work in batches depending on your air fryer size)

1. Air fry at 330°F for 7-8 minutes for runny yolks, or 9-10 minutes if you prefer them firm. Keep an eye on them – these babies need attention!

1. Once the eggs are cooked to your liking, sprinkle with cheese and return to the air fryer for 30 seconds to melt.

1. Top with your cooked bacon pieces and fresh chives. If you’re feeling fancy (and who isn’t?), add some halved cherry tomatoes and avocado slices.

Let me tell you, when you cut into these babies and that yolk starts oozing over the buttery croissant… heaven! It’s literally like having breakfast at a fancy café, but in your PJs! Plus, clean-up is a breeze – because who wants to spend their morning doing dishes? Not this girl!

Pro tip: Want to make this even more indulgent? Add a little hollandaise sauce on top. I won’t tell if you don’t! 😘
